Furniture Redux

My family went a little DIY this week.  We took an old dresser that had been staking out a dark corner in the basement for the last, oh, half decade and repainted it for what is now its fourth reincarnation.

The before and after pic shows it: we swapped out our mirror for our TV. Now that's a good deal.

Here's the highlights:

Step 1: Dig out old dresser.

Step 2: Um, find that missing drawer.

Step 3: Clean drawers.

Step 4: Take a lunch break.

Step 5: Take the dog out for a walk.

Step 6: Paint drawers.

We repainted the white frame, and went with a warm beige color on the drawers to go with that white.

Step 7: Move in drawers and enjoy!

  1. Very nice! I love those quick DIY projects. But mine almost never involve home improvement... they're more along the lines of yarn creations! Case in point: this morning I finished my third hat in one week. That makes 7 hats in the last month! Anyway. The dresser looks nice!
